But next time we will forego the boring fries and toast. $36.99 - Feast for Four - 4 Stars Except that we added an $11 portion of beef brisket! Bringing the total of this plate of magnificence to $47.99. For this you get high quality, smoked, beef brisket. chicken, sliced pork, beef ribs, corn on the cob, cole slaw, fries, Texas toast and bbq beans. Essentially an entire picnic on one massive platter that provides a heavenly presentation when it arrives at your table. There were three men at my table, but this platter might feed four as advertised, as long as each person eats sparingly. The brisket, sliced pork, chicken and beans were 5 star items. The ribs, grilled corn, and cole slaw were 3 star items. And the bland boring fries and toast were 2 star items.

This isn't BBQ, it's the AIDS. I know Central FL. isn't known for BBQ, but you could do better going across the st. and getting a Mac Rib sandwich. A relative I know likes to go here, mainly because she knows the owner from church. I'd rather blow Satan than eat Woody's leathery ribs and dry chicken. Yes, I know it's a chain, another reason to never go there. One of the only redeemers of this shit-hole peninsula is the food. Don't waste your time here.

I can't say I was as impressed as the previous reviewer. We were a large group of 9, so we required a 4 top next to the 6 top, which would require a bit of a wait. No problem, we had a few drinks at the bar and waited. About 40 minutes pass and I look down to our future table and a party of one is sitting at the 4 top (reading her book, too add insult) while the 6 top sat empty. Apparently the hostess forgot about us. We finally sat about 1:30 after arriving. I'm not sure if it was the time of day or what, but all of the BBQ seemed very dry. The brisket seemed to be sliced hours earlier, and by the time we got to it was well into its transformation into jerky. The chopped pork was OK, but not especially memorable. I did like the BBQ sauces...the hot definitely had a nice kick. Once we were seated, service was good and our drinks were promptly refilled. The waitress did not balk at seperate checks. All in all a solid 3.5 experience.

I got the "Taste of Woody's" The brisket was nearly perfect! Turkey was a little dry but had very good flavor, ribs were a little skinny but meat was tender and came off the bone fairly easily. Now for the sides, I had the bbq beans and cole slaw, unlike what Matthew McConaughey thinks, your BBQ can be based on the quality of your cole slaw and theirs is so close to mine I thought I made it. My wife got the "Woody Trio" she loved the meat, all was good, tender and tasted great, the reason they did NOT get 5 stars from us is because her sides, mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese tasted like they were instant and out of the box. For the great quality of the meat, why skimp on the sides?
